Building community resilience is a crucial part of enabling communities to better manage and recover from disasters. Reliance Foundation supports in building safer, disaster-resilient communities in alignment with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction -

A holistic, proactive, technology-driven, and sustainable strategy that involves all stakeholders and fosters a culture of prevention, preparedness, and mitigation. Key objectives of our programme are:-

• Establishing collaborative action to address underlying risk factors to reduce exposure to hazards and
• Augmenting local capacities in emergency preparedness and response
• Reliance Foundation team works by: Using digital solutions for wide-ranging risk communication, preparedness, risk reduction, and outreach
• Building an active volunteer base in risk-prone communities
• Collaborating with governments at every level, private institutes, and grassroots institutions
• Working on Mangrove conservation and plantation for disaster risk reduction
